Getting Started

I've been thinking about a blog for ages. I'm surrounded by social media users but it all seems to have passed me by. So instead of trying to figure out the appeal from afar, I'm diving in and starting my own, private blog. Somewhere to experiment and find out if blogging is for me. If anyone else reads this and wants to comment; be gentle and patient.
